Description of Organization:

Description of Project funded by CIRCLE: The present proposal continues an action started in 2001 by the CENDHEC focusing on child domestic labor prevention through the strengthening public policies in Recife and increasing the awareness about the effects of child labor to personal and social development.

The project aims to qualify the action of PETI (Federal Program to the Eradication of Child Labor) in the municipality and do social control of the public policies through the elaboration and evaluation of the Municipal Plan.

Another objective is to promote the participation of children and adolescents and mobilize the public opinion to this issue.
