Project's Primary Objective: Long-term sustainability of child labor prevention initiatives assured

Description of Organization: Bal Ashrum Trust was established in 1998 as a rehabilitation and training center for victims of child labor. To date, over 1000 children have been rehabilitated. Bal Ashrum Trust has experience with bonded laborers from the following industries: brick, stone quarries, agriculture, and carpet weaving. Bal Ashrum Trust believes that systematic change can only happen when victims themselves become change-agents against exploitation and abuse.
